Design/Innovative Strategies
  • Developed & aided with the implementation of inventory application resulting in effective management of over 400 servers.
  • Created initial web site design used as an interface for associate and inventory data; later versions have expanded on original concept to include software, bundles, and contacts as well.
  • Introduction of a set of complex auto recovery routines, aimed to reduced programmer & dba intervention for Sale Reporting batch trail of which the result achieved zero batch trail failures.
Problem Solving/Analysis
  • Identified, developed, and implemented a fully automated batch trail to solve an unreliable and ineffective process; thus solving delivery issues and improving reliability.
  • To avoid repeat issues with supply levels, presented POC for operations inventory tracking application, the resulting effect obtained efficient managing and on time delivery of all computer operations supplies.
  • In effort to alleviate platform constraints, assisted with POC, and lead platform migration for Sybase PowerBuilder application from Win-NT to Sun Solaris Unix, thus gaining additional growth potential, greater response times, and leveraging support of Sun hardware giant.
Project Management
  • Involved with the planning, execution, and analysis for CRM & LMS Oracle/Peoplesoft disaster recovery annual event, meeting all deliverables and reporting lesson learned.
  • Controlled creation and execution of conversion trail used for data warehouse sourcing for financial institution moving to client server platform.
  • Improved on-time batch delivery rate ensuring sales reports availability by 7am, and introduced a set of complex auto recovery routines, reducing programmer/dba intervention for trail to near zero levels.
Technology Application
  • Automated database health check routines using Unix bases shell scripts for Oracle environment.
  • Created script automation for monthly generation of pricing application data, allowing for timely creation of reports, and ease of execution.
  • Aided in creating front end interface for AutoSys software, to provide operational support staff with a tool for monitoring financial data mart batch trails; this effort provided prompt response to trail issues, thus avoiding delays with 7am online delivery.
